I'm going through a spiral right now lol, for a few reasons, First off it's really wild to me that I do not like any Deftones album after White pony. Yet since this album first circulated online thru Myspace and stuff around 2002 I have been in love with team sleep and it's what got me into trip hop. So this year when I saw Team Sleep on the Record Store Day 2024 list I was ecstatic!! Still am but, I picked up my copy yesterday, and immediately noticed the cover was different slightly, same with the tracklist. and when I played thru the order and vibe was weird. I realized I was thinking of this demo version of the album which is my favorite. because it's more trip hop it's more chino beat machines and various other artists helping out. While the official album is more of a band feel. Which is why I feel weird liking this style of music under the deftones banner but love it on it's own
